About 86Box

`86Box <https://86box.net>`_ is an IBM PC system emulator that specializes in running old
operating systems and software designed for IBM PC systems and compatibles
from 1981 through fairly recent system designs based on the PCI bus.

86Box is released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later.

If you need a configuration manager for 86Box, use the `Avalonia 86 <https://github.com/notBald/Avalonia86>`_, our
officially endorsed 86Box configuration manager, developed by notBald (`notBald <https://github.com/notBald>`_).
Please note that Avalonia 86 currently only works on Windows and Linux.
